Scenario:

Upon entering the Cambridge Swiss Centre, Mr. John Smith signs the digital guestbook, and is given a tracking glove. On the left is the wall-screen facebook where all the guest's faces, names and companies are displayed. He makes a mental note of who he hopes to meet tonight. He enters the main space and mingles with the crowd. It's time for the official address by the Technology Minister of Switzerland. The Virtual Technology Minister addresses the crowd and uses the main screen to show images of the latest developments in Switzerland.

Mr. Smith then walks over to Mr. Ungers (the virtual body) from Zurich. They shake hands. They engage in small talk and he discovers that Ungers was doing an interesting project. He calls up the web browser window on the plasma screen and both of them browse through the webpage of Mr. Ungers' project. He finds that there is possibility for collaboration and asks for Mr. Unger's name card. Mr. Ungers in Zurich touches the "Give Name Card" button on the screen next to the virtual body of Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith sees the name card, address, telephone, etc. on the screen and touches the receive button on his data glove. He said good-bye to Mr. Ungers and move on to another group talking at the far corner of the room. At the end of the evening, he bids good-bye to the host and signs out at the digital guest book. The contact information of all those he met tonight is downloaded to his PDA at the guest book panel and embalmed to his amyl address.
